            When proceeding up river recently I wondered whether the Native Administrations concerned would be willing to have name boards of villages erected on the banks of the river as at Railway stations

            It is of interest when travelling up or down river to see the names of the villages and to be able to know where one is.

            I only suggest this for your views. You have a Native Administration Carpenter who ought to be able to prepare boards and paint them should you consider the idea acceptable.
